disappointed -- too large, not adjustable, looks like plastic

I have a 31-inch waist, so I ordered the Small/Medium, but it's way too big. It might work for a 36" waist. The description says it's mostly polyester, but the "glossy" appearance looks cheap -- like vinyl or plastic. The material is rigid, not form-fitting.

Suggestions would be to offer smaller size(s) or to make the waist adjustable. Instead of sewing the waist straps to the rings, use small buckles on the straps so that the straps can be pulled tighter or looser as needed.

The red color is nice, and the triangle back is fun.
