June is over, and with it, the biggest parades and pride parties are gone. The companies return to the regular logos, and the rainbow colors disappear from the window shops and return to “normality” But Pride isn’t over… Not for us.
We know Pride is not just a month and we understand and celebrate equality and inclusion in all forms, and that commitment and support with the LGBTQ+ community stands every day. We keep celebrating Love for 365 days a year, and fortunately, there are global events in many places to express our voice, our style, our way to be.
Of course, we are aware that June is the month to commemorate the Stonewall Riots, as well as the fight for the LGBTQ+ rights, but we are also aware that we are not a minority anymore. Every year we can see more and more events, parades, festivals, and a growing community that needs to speak their voices, their taste, their style.
Is amazing to see how many Pride celebrations are having place like the Global Pride Toronto in July, or Beyond the Rainbow, in Austin, TX, in August. There are a lot of opportunities to join these celebrations all over the world, we are not restricted to just one place, or one month anymore!
Our commitment goes further than most of the brands, CandyMan is keeping the rainbow colors, and embracing inclusion in all kind of forms, and that’s the beauty about it. We are creating Pride collections, not just once, but several along the year, and most important, we are creating these pieces for everybody. It doesn’t matter your body type, age, of taste.
